Here are my top 5 favorite at-home craft ideas using my Cricut.  These ideas can be adapted to fit any space and home. Use any materials from home to complete and add in your own details to make it unique for your home. Let me know if you use any of these ideas, I’d love to share.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut for Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.

First Idea: Sensory Bin

An easy activity to do at home if you have children. Take any leftover scraps of paper and use your Cricut to cut out simple shapes, like Easter-themed ones (egg, basket, bunny, chick, etc.). The Cricut Design Space now has 1,000 new images so there are tons of fun shapes and images to choose from. First, once cut out, write anything you want on the cards that your children need help learning. These can be sight words, addition or subtraction equations, color words, or dots to count. Then, place the shapes inside a sensory bin filled with materials such as shredded paper, plastic eggs, and mini figurines. Also, make sure to watch your child, as sensory bins can contain small pieces.

Second Idea: Movement Space Area

Next, my second at-home craft idea comes from a teaching friend Theresa from TheLimitlessClassroom. She created a movement space area in her home to give her daughter an area to practice her Physical Therapy skills. This area allows children to hop, skip, jump, count, squat and more! You get to decide what to put in this area and with removable vinyl, you can change out the activities.

Third Idea: Customized Crayon Box

The way to a teacher and parents’ heart is through organization. This at-home craft idea and the one below make my heart so happy because give me all the labels! The Day’s at SomedayI’llLearn created this label for all their children’s crayons. These containers found at Walmart and the Dollar Tree fit the 24-pack of crayons perfectly. This helps keep crayons inside the box and off your walls!

Fourth Idea: Desk Drawer Labels

Like I said earlier, organization and labeling make my heart happy. But this, this just makes my heart burst. Lela Burris has tons of tips in her organized-ish blog series and services. These labels help keep items from being put back in the wrong spot or thrown in. With lots of hands going in and out of drawers, they tend to get messy quickly. Using removable vinyl allows you to adjust drawers as needed.

Fifth Idea: Quiet Toddler Activity

Anyone with a toddler will totally understand that you need games that can be played over and over and over. Angie, from TheCountryChicCottage created the perfect play page for your toddler to use. On her blog, you can find all the directions, plus a video of how to make. Grab your felt, Cricut, and EasyPress machine to get started!
