The Bad Seed Substitute Lesson Plans

Stephanie from Kindershenanigans and I created daily lesson plans to use for when you are out and for substitutes to use. These lesson plans are all created to go along with the book and require little to no prep.

In the story, The Bad Seed students will complete activities throughout the day with a pre-made schedule and a template to adjust for your own students needs.

The Bad Seed Activities included:

-Questions for before, during and after reading The Bad Seed

-Writing prompt and craft. Students will make a sunflower like in The Bad Seed.

-Phonics cards for write the room or sensory bins, short a picture cards

-Sight word sheet, students will find frequent sight words in the story.

-Math Tic-Tac-Toe board includes different math skills

-STEM activity, students will make a catapult

-Lunch Idea

-Brain Breaks
