Printable Play Dough Mats for Beginning Sounds

This is one of my 16 alphabet task card games that can be used to teach students beginning sounds using playdough. There are also full-size pages if you don’t have the Michaels Recollection Photo Keeper Boxes.

This game has 77 task cards, 3 for each letter except letter x has 2 cards. Each card has a play dough image and word that starts with a certain letter. For example, “letter a” includes an airplane, acorn, and ax. Students will make the image out of playdough and then they will say the letter sound 3 times and each time they will put playdough over the circle.

This will not only help with letter sound fluency and letter recognition but also one to one counting.

There are 26 full-size sheets and each sheet contains all 3 images.

Print and laminate the full-size sheets or task cards for an easy/ low prep center to use.
