There are fine motor mats for each season. Each season focuses on a different skill.

For the fine motor activities for fall, it focuses on counting. Students will count the total amount of objects used and/or the different color objects they use.

For the fine motor activities for winter, it focuses on syllables and vowels. Students will clap out or tap out the word and write the number of syllables or will circle and count the vowels in the word. Then, will circle the correct number on the mat.

For the fine motor activities for spring, it focuses on addition problems and writing pieces. Students will make their own addition problem with different colors in the images or write a sentence using the image word.

For the fine motor activities for summer, it focuses on 2 different skills. If you use it at the beginning of the school year, students will trace the letter the image starts with. If you use it at the end of the school year students will write the letter on their own or could even write the entire word for the image.
