CVCE Long A Worksheets

In this product, it includes 6 different long a activities:

-Fluency Sheet: with long a word families (same, ate, ave, ake and ace) 3 different sets that build upon it.

-Sorting Sheets: focuses on word families: ake, are, ape, ave and ane

-Writing Sheets: students have 4 words to choose from for each word family to write in a sentence.

-Write The Room: includes cards for all 5 long a word families and recording sheets. Includes 20 pre-numbered cards and two different recording sheets.

-Color by Code: includes one sheet for 4 word families to focus on. Makes a cake.

-Reading sheets: all 3 long a word families (ave, ake, ate). Students will read sentences for each word family and a picture to match. Then they will write their own sentence and draw their own picture at the bottom.
