Connect Four Game for Interactive Bulletin Board

In this Connect Four Game, students will play Connect Four but on a much larger scale, making the fun more exciting. By printing this game in poster settings under Adobe to 350% (15 pages), students will play Giant Connect Four on a Bulletin Board practicing different skills.

You will need a bulletin board, red/yellow paper, laminating sheets and velcro. This comes with step by step instruction with pictures to put together and play the game.

Steps included:

1. Clear off a bulletin board to play connect four game.

2. Print off connect four game board (multiple to choose from with different wording).

3. Laminate and piece together by stapling onto bulletin board.

4. Place velcro on blank white circle on the connect four game board.

5. Print of red and yellow chips (game board holds 42 pieces so make 21 of each color). Place velcro on back side on these to stick to bulletin board.

6. Place pouches onto bulletin board to hold chips when not being used.

7. Cut out or use my Cricut Design Space for the title.

8. Show students how to play, starting from the bottom and adding on top. First students to get 4 of their color chips in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally) wins.

9. Play by having students write sight words, numbers, cvc words or more onto the chips to help practice writing and reading fluency. This will help student master the skill they are practicing. Or as the teacher write your own words, numbers or equations onto the chip and students must read or solve before placing onto the board.
