My Top 5 Lakeshore Learning Resources

I don’t have words to describe how happy I was when Lakeshore Learning got a store in Nashville, TN. It is my go-to teaching store especially during their Back To School sale which is their biggest sale of the year. My 5 favorite resources

Some of my favorite products include these two in the video below, Alphabots and Snap& Build Phonics Sets. I love using Alphabots to introduce letters at the beginning of the school year and use them as manipulatives. The Snap& Build phonics sets are perfect to use all year round when introducing those skills. The best is the kids will remember how to play it when you pull out new sets, they have vowels, blends, digraphs, and CVC sets.

Another Lakeshore Learning product that Nickie wanted was the Tens-Frame Class Set to use during math. It comes with 20 plastic trays and 220 counters. You can use these in whole group, small group, and one on one throughout the school year. She plans on using it to make addition and subtraction problems, counting groups for 5 and 10, and practicing number sense.

The last thing I grabbed was some Better Than Paper Rolls bulletin board in light blue and burlap. These were the perfect touch to her classroom and the best part is you can write on them with an expo marker.
