CVC Words Read the Room Activities – Short Vowel Worksheets – Kindergarten, 1st

This resource includes eight activities.

There is one for each vowel and three with mixed vowels for extra practice. Print the 12 numbered word cards and place them anywhere in your classroom. Students use the matching worksheet to find and color the pictures that go with each word.

This activity is perfect for literacy centers, small groups, morning work, or whole-class practice. It gives students repeated practice with CVC words, builds letter-sound recognition, and adds movement to your phonics instruction.
