Updated Dramatic Play Center DIY Guide
My Updated DIY Dramatic Play Center Guide
Last summer, my husband offered to redo my dramatic play center stand so it was more sturdy so here is my updated dramatic play guide.
One of the biggest changes was making it in a L-shape so it wasn’t top-heavy. We also added some extra accessories including, a pegboard, plexiglass, and hooks on the side.
Step 1:
Create the layout for your dramatic play center. We went with 6 crates and did 4 on the front and 2 on the side.
Step 2:
We built up the sides and framed the front crate for the plexiglass. This is perfect to create a display window or a pretend oven.
Step 3:
Then, we placed the top on it, we made sure it would still be able to hold two banners for signs.
Step 4:
Last, we added the plexiglass, pegboard, and paint! Once, it was in my classroom I added my monthly decor. The dramatic play printables you can get on my TeachersPayTeachers store. Click here to view some of the physical items I place in my dramatic play.
